Contract Disputes

• We obtained a favorable settlement for an individual and his company who sought their share of profits in a joint venture that shipped more than $1.5 billion in products from overseas to the United States.
• We obtained an attachment in aid of arbitration freezing the assets of a company that deprived our client, an international telecommunications company, of full payment for its services, and then won an arbitration award in our client’s favor.

Financial Misconduct Cases

• We obtained a favorable resolution for the chief financial officer and other officers and directors of public company in a federal case seeking $40 million in damages for alleged accounting malpractice.
• We obtained dismissal of a federal class action on behalf of the chief financial officer of a public company who was alleged to have participated in a scheme to defraud investors.

Representing Sports Agents and Athletes

• We obtained a favorable result for a sports agent who sued the largest sport management company in the United States to void a restrictive covenant.
• We obtained a successful result for a professional athlete charged with breaching an endorsement contract with a well-recognized international apparel manufacturer and also represented him in parallel proceedings in Italy where we participated in the selection and oversight of Italian counsel.

Representing Officers & Directors

• We successfully represented numerous high-level executives in sensitive negotiations regarding executive compensation, including representing the CEO of a Fortune 500 company.
• We negotiated numerous employment agreements, confidentiality agreements and non-compete agreements for high-level officers and directors of public and privately-held companies.
